The Boot
This picture was taken in the early 1900’s. It shows George and Charlotte Halls outside the Boot in Dane End which they ran from about 1916 to 1933.
Did you Know?
In 1855 the population of Dane End was 175. James Carpenter was the landlord at the Boot, and Charles Snell Chauncy lived at Dane End House.
